With Comet Enterprise, audit logs aren’t for everyone.
Perplexity has just launched this managed version of its AI browser. It is being made available to subscribers of its Enterprise plans (Pro at $40 per month per seat, Max at $325 per month per seat).
Audit logs are accessible only starting at 50 Pro seats or at least 1 Max seat. This kind of cap does not seem to apply to the rest of the features.

Although Comet is available on iOS and Android, the enterprise version is officially supported only on desktop operating systems. Specifically Windows (x64 and ARM64, from Windows 10) and Mac (Intel and Apple Dawn Liphardt, from macOS 13). It requires a minimum of 4 GB of RAM (8 GB recommended).
Based on Chromium, Comet thus supports most Chrome extensions — without the ability to import them from another browser, however. It is also compatible with its rules (full list here).
The admin console lets you enable Comet only for certain users. And to define the AI rights (either control the browser, or only read the content of pages, or neither) by configuring domain exceptions if needed.
The AI occupies several surfaces. Including a side panel and a floating quick-actions menu that opens when you select text. On the Chromium base (memory saver, Safe Browsing tech, accessibility features…), Perplexity has also added an ad blocker. As well as its own search engine, enabled by default, with a customization option based on history.

Beyond the built-in defenses against prompt injections, Perplexity has struck a deal with CrowdStrike. The latter leverages its acquisition of Seraphic to offer a security layer combining risk scoring of extensions, DLP, and detection of suspicious files and links. It is opt-in, “included in [the] Perplexity Enterprise subscription.”
We are told of five reference users of Comet Enterprise. All American: Fortune, AWS, AlixPartners (consulting firm), Gunderson Dettmer (law firm) and Bessemer Venture Partners (venture capital fund that invested in Perplexity).
