Bouygues Telecom Promotes Its CIO to the Executive Committee

Bouygues Telecom is strengthening the role of its IT department in governance. Georgina Lopez, who has been leading the operator’s information systems since December 2025, will join the General Management Committee on September 3.

Her mission will be to continue transforming the information systems, with a dual objective of operational performance and agility. Bouygues Telecom intends to rely on new architectures, methods and tools, while accelerating the exploitation of the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence.

This entry into the General Management Committee comes as Bouygues Telecom accelerates the transformation of its information system, notably around AI. The operator aims to combine operational excellence, performance and agility, drawing in particular on the expertise of its teams and on new architectures, methods and tools.

Georgina Lopez is well versed in the operator’s environment. A trained engineer, she joined Bouygues Telecom in 1999 and has held several managerial roles in the technical IT, Network and Enterprise divisions. In 2022, she took on responsibility for the Products and Services Directorate, notably responsible for connectivity and television solutions for consumer customers.
