Atol Appoints Stéphane Deschamps as Group CIO

The Atol cooperative announces the appointment of Stéphane Deschamps as Director of Group Information Systems. He will also join Atol’s Executive Committee.

This appointment directly aligns with Cooper’ATOL 2030, the cooperative’s strategic plan aiming for €600 million in revenue and 1,000 points of sale by 2030.

Stéphane Deschamps brings more than 25 years of experience in the digital transformation of companies. An IT engineer and graduate of ISTY, he first built his expertise in data and digital marketing during more than eleven years at Bouygues Telecom, where he led large-scale projects in support of customer relationship management and commercial performance.

Digital at the Heart of Cooper’ATOL 2030

In 2017, he joined Provalliance as Digital and Information Systems Director. For nine years, he steered the digital transformation of a network comprising more than 3,000 points of sale. This distribution model, with its challenges of local performance and the need for coherence of tools across a network, is directly comparable to Atol’s. In between, he also advised on the French Football Federation’s digital transformation as a consultant.

As part of the strategic plan, digital is identified as a lever for collective competitiveness for the 800 independent opticians in the Atol network. Three priority axes: simplifying back-office operations through artificial intelligence, omnichannel performance of the stores, and technological innovation serving vision and hearing.
