The Parisian startup specializing in generative AI, Delos, has just closed a €10 million funding round led by Bpifrance, C4 Ventures, and Founders Future.
This Series A will enable them to accelerate the deployment of their “Workers,” autonomous AI agents the company presents as true colleagues rather than mere tools.
Agents with a complete professional identity
Unlike a traditional AI agent that must be steered to carry out a specific task, each Worker is assigned its own identity: a name, a role, and a domain of expertise.
Delos highlights its ability to organize its work autonomously, without a human having to intervene at every step. This identity is expressed through the use of the same collaborative tools as a salaried employee.
“We are not creating another tool: we’re giving companies new colleagues,” summarizes Pierre de la Grand’rive, cofounder and CEO of Delos.
For the leader, the projects driven by agents currently deployed in companies remain scattered and limited to narrow tasks. He advocates breaking with this approach in favor of more autonomous agents, capable of managing an entire business process while integrating with the IT tools already in place within the company.
Strong growth and marquee clients
Delos claims more than 300 client companies and 2,000 Workers in continuous operation. Its recurring revenues are said to have risen from €2.5 million to €5 million in three months, with a goal of €10 million by the end of 2026.
The Workers are today deployed, according to the company, with more than a dozen mid-size and major corporate clients, notably in procurement services, sales teams, and billing management.
In a commercial role, for example, a Worker handles appointment setting, proactively follows up with clients, updates the customer relationship management (CRM) tool, and can, if needed, place phone calls without human intervention. Among the companies supported are TotalEnergies, Meilleurtaux, Icade, and Schmidt Kitchens.
Patrick Thibierge, president of Meilleurtaux Placement, testifies: “We rolled out our first workers within the MeilleurTaux Placement division. They were onboarded quickly, and are now integral to the teams. They hold real positions in communications and operations management.”
Its engineering teams come from prestigious French schools (Polytechnique, École Normale Supérieure, and Mines), and the company openly positions itself as a future French—and even European—reference player in the AI agent space.
Client data can be hosted on European infrastructures, and an on-premise installation can be offered to the most regulated sectors such as finance, industry, or healthcare.
Around geared toward international expansion
Delos intends to devote this funding round to strengthening its commercial presence, in France as well as abroad, and to fine-tune its Workers so they cover more professions and sectors of activity.
Thibaut de la Grand’rive, cofounder and chief commercial officer, states: “AI employees are not science fiction. They are already deployed at more than ten mid-size and large clients.”
“Within two to three years, every company will need to include AI employees in its organizational chart. We must rethink how work is organized around this new reality,” adds Pierre de la Grand’rive.
The two brothers founded Delos in 2023. A first funding round was already closed in April 2025, led by the 20VC fund. The company now employs 40 people, with 30 Workers added to the headcount.
