HP Aims to Change Its Approach With the Launch of WXP

“Today, employees rely on a multitude of tools without a single, coherent system. With WXP, we centralize all services into one integrated environment,” says Vincent Thura, Product Manager Services at HP. This intelligent platform not only monitors devices and reduces IT incidents, but also enhances security, user experience, and productivity, thanks to artificial intelligence and predictive analytics.

Prevent IT Problems to Heal More Efficiently

Designed to adapt to environments where a multitude of services and software from different brands mingle, WXP ensures unification of everything, even with equipment and solutions not HP. “The world is hybrid, fragmented. Our mission is to help CIOs orchestrate this ecosystem, whatever it may be,” notes Vincent Thura. Through a formidable application of artificial intelligence, as well as analysis carried out by skilled agents, WXP aggregates valuable data that enables actions before the user even reports a problem.

AI detects certain primary signals (such as a defective battery, a computer that crashes repeatedly, or a missing update for a specific software, for instance) and intervenes proactively. In other words, it helps relieve the IT workload, which can be substantial when employees hesitate to report every issue they encounter. “By cross-referencing all these sources, we empower administrators to anticipate problems rather than respond to them after the fact. This approach profoundly changes how employees perceive an IT service. They think: ‘Wow, my IT department can identify a problem and come to help me even before I report it.’” When IT issues are managed and resolved more effectively, the overall efficiency of a company is enhanced.

Naturally Enhanced Efficiency

Along the way, even though WXP wasn’t designed solely for ecological optimization, it can be integrated into digital sobriety strategies by providing precise energy monitoring and by incorporating refurbished equipment. Far from being a simple software tool, WXP can leverage the broader suite of services offered by the company, such as MDS (Managed Device Services) or MPS (Managed Print Services). HP supports each enterprise with a tailored deployment, technical assistance, and change management—an aspect often overlooked but essential to the success of IT projects. “Our approach always starts with listening to the client. Each project begins with a clear understanding of their situation: where they stand, what their priorities are, what obstacles or concerns they have. It’s not merely about showcasing the technical merits of a product, but delivering concrete responses to real problems,” explains Vincent.

Security is also a foundational pillar of WXP. Hosted in Europe via AWS Germany, the data processed by WXP complies with all applicable standards. With an ambitious roadmap through 2026 in the first phase, HP plans to expand WXP’s capabilities to cover all devices used by employees (docking stations, displays, etc.). The platform thus embodies a new era in IT management: proactive, unified, and human-centered—an approach every company can sample initially before moving to the next level.
