“We welcome the appointment of Jean-Philippe Famin to his new role,” said Marc Camus. “Cybersecurity challenges are ambitious and foundational. The opportunities are just as significant. We are confident that his expertise will be a major asset, and so too is his commitment.” — Marc Camus, Group CIO

Professional Trajectory

Jean-Philippe Famin joined BNP Paribas in June 2007, entering the IT function and specializing in banking messaging.

Four years later, he joined the General Inspection as an Inspector. This experience gave him a broad view of BNP Paribas’ entities.

At the end of 2014, he joined BNP Paribas Real Estate’s IT department. He steered the IT budget and, at the same time, coordinated international activities.

He then became head of IT Production and Security. Later, at the end of 2017, he assumed the role of CIO of BNP Paribas Real Estate.

Since May 2020, he has led the Production Security line. He even founded it within the Production department. His remit spans the Bank’s operations. Finally, he benefits from the support of the Group’s CTO and CISO.
