Nearly two months after the deal closed, Neverhack confirms an €11 million fundraising round from its institutional shareholders Carlyle and IK Partners.
Founded in July 2021, Neverhack positions itself in the field of sovereign cyber defense by combining operational expertise, managed services, and cybersecurity AI. It counts more than 1,200 employees across 12 countries and reports revenue of €220 million.
With this freshly injected capital, Neverhack plans to design a sovereign AI cybersecurity offering and to deploy dedicated infrastructures to protect strategic data by strengthening its GPU capabilities in France, Italy, and Estonia. A training program for technical and commercial teams completes this initiative.
At the same time, its governance is evolving. Arthur Bataille, founder and second-largest shareholder of the group, relinquishes day-to-day management to become Executive Chairman charged with steering the strategic vision.
Frédéric Sarrailh will lead the group as Chief Executive Officer. He had previously held the roles of “VP Technology & Services” and then “Managing Director Northern Europe.”
Recall that Neverhack, formerly Pr0ph3cy, sprang from the merger of Silicom and Seela, then from the acquisition of Expert Line and Harmonie Technologie.
Controlled since July 2023 by the Carlyle Europe Technology Partners (CETP) fund, which invested €100 million for 55% of the share capital, Neverhack aims to offer a “one-stop shop” of cybersecurity solutions for major accounts and mid-sized enterprises.
In February 2004, Neverhack had acquired Expert Line, a cyber consulting and services firm as well as a SOC operator, before turning its attention a few months later to Innovery, an Italian IT services company.
