Stephan Teerling Named Chief IT and Technology Officer

Allianz France strengthens its governance with the appointment of Stephan Teerling to its Executive Committee. As the new Chief IT & Technology Officer, he now heads the insurer’s information systems. A consultant and technology expert

At 45, Stephan Teerling holds a Master’s degree in Business Systems Engineering from the University of Duisburg. Before joining the Allianz group, he built his experience in the consulting and IT management sectors with leading firms such as BCG Platinion and Accenture.

A Career Path Within the Allianz Group

He joined Allianz Germany in 2015 to lead Health Analytics, and he accelerated his trajectory in 2019 by becoming Deputy Managing Director of Allianz Digital Health. In this position, he actively contributed to the creation of the entity, the international deployment of health IT solutions, and the growth of this segment.

Since 2022, Stephan Teerling has held the role of Chief of Staff to Oliver Bäte, CEO of Allianz SE. In this capacity, he led broad, globally strategic initiatives, notably the “Rapid Productivity” program rolled out across 19 Group entities worldwide.
