Thibaud Binétruy Appointed President of InterCERT France

InterCERT France, which brings together more than 120 teams dedicated to cyber detection and incident response across the national territory, has renewed its Board of Directors. Members elected Thibaud Binétruy, head of the CSIRT-Suez, to lead the organization as president.

The bureau is completed by Anthony Charreau (CERT Crédit Mutuel Euro-Information) in the position of Vice-President and Julien Mongenet (Thales-CERT) as Treasurer. The Council also includes three other directors: Valérie Couché (C2MI), Tristan Pinceaux (CERT ALMOND CWATCH) and Maxime Lambert (CERT-Formind).

A track record in operational cyber defense

Thibaud Binétruy brings 17 years of experience in cybersecurity, including 11 years dedicated to operational cyber defense. After starting out as an auditor and pentester, he joined the CERT at Société Générale where he discovered the InterCERT community. He then progressed in the defense and aerospace sectors at Safran before taking the helm of the CSIRT of the Suez Group in 2022.

This transition follows the tenure of Frédéric Le Bastard (CERT La Poste), who helped shape the association since its creation in October 2021. The Board awarded him the title of Honorary Member in recognition of his contributions.

In response to the evolving cyber threats, the new governance aims to strengthen the culture of prevention and to intensify exchanges of lessons learned among members. The association also intends to place greater emphasis on the mental health of cybersecurity professionals, who face daily stress and operational pressure.
