Adobe is set to reach the 800 million weekly active users of ChatGPT, who will need to create an Adobe account in order to use the apps within ChatGPT.
This rollout builds on Adobe’s late-October announcement, when the company revamped its video editing and image editing tools to enable users to carry out tasks through conversational AI assistants. The integration into ChatGPT continues this thread of agency-focused AI innovations and the MCP protocol.
Adapting to the upheavals of AI
Its deal with OpenAI comes at a moment when Adobe is intensifying its efforts to adapt to the transformations AI is driving in the professional design markets, while widening its reach to new audiences who are encountering its apps for the first time.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
