SPIE ICS, the SPIE group’s IT services arm, has completed the integration of Artemys, a company founded in 1989 and dedicated to the design, management, and evolution of information systems. The deal, signed in December, increases the IT services provider’s headcount to more than 3,600 employees.
Headquartered in Paris and employing 420 people across seven offices in France and Belgium, Artemys maintains a network of more than 300 partners that enables it to quickly mobilize a diverse range of profiles — technicians, consultants, project managers, and engineers — across fields such as cloud infrastructure, application development, data, cybersecurity, and end-user services.
For SPIE ICS, this integration significantly broadens its technical assistance offering, a strategic segment in a context where IT skills are increasingly scarce as demand grows for data, computing, and storage infrastructure.

In the data and artificial intelligence space, the two entities present complementary positions. SPIE ICS deploys for its clients a secure, in-house generative AI platform, while Artemys works closest to business processes and applications. Together, they aim to cover the full spectrum of their clients’ needs in this market.
The two companies also combine their expertise on transformation and cloud migration projects, with a strong presence in the Microsoft ecosystem.
The acquisition also yields regional synergies. Artemys has a strong footprint in Normandy and the Île-de-France region, with a recognised track record in the finance, banking, and luxury sectors. It will complement SPIE ICS’s network of 60 offices and broaden its portfolio of public and private sector clients.
