Dassault Systèmes to Acquire ArisGlobal for $1.8 Billion

Dassault Systèmes announces the acquisition of ArisGlobal, the publisher of a regulatory compliance and artificial intelligence platform aimed at the life sciences industry.

The deal is valued at approximately $1.8 billion in cash. A potential earnout of up to $200 million is also planned. The payout would depend on AI-related revenue milestones achieved over several years.

ArisGlobal serves more than 200 clients. Among them are half of the world’s top 50 biopharmaceutical groups. The company also collaborates with biotechnology firms, medical device manufacturers, contract research organizations (CROs), and health authorities.

Its platform processes more than 12 million patient-safety reports each year. ArisGlobal employs more than 1,300 people worldwide. The company targets revenue of $175 million in 2026.

A Market Driven by AI and Regulatory Requirements

Dassault Systèmes estimates that the regulatory compliance market will reach $7.5 billion by 2030. The group foresees double-digit growth, driven in particular by the rising adoption of software and artificial intelligence.

According to Dassault Systèmes, ArisGlobal’s NavaX solution could boost productivity by more than 30%. The gains would concern automation, data quality, and regulatory compliance.

With this acquisition, Dassault Systèmes aims to combine its expertise in R&D, clinical trials and production with ArisGlobal’s strengths in safety and regulatory affairs.

The group plans to build a database covering the entire lifecycle of health products, from the molecule to the patient.

Pascal Daloz, CEO of Dassault Systèmes, explains that this move fits into the group’s industry virtualization strategy. It should enable real-world data to be linked to its modeling and simulation capabilities.

Dassault Systèmes will fully finance this acquisition using its available cash.

The group plans to complete the operation in the second half of 2026. The transaction remains subject to the usual regulatory approvals.
