No more Headless 360 — it’s AIforce.
Salesforce carried out this rebranding in early September. It gave it prominent prominence on the opening day of Dreamforce 2026. To the extent that its messaging has shifted away from the Agentforce brand. The brand has even disappeared from the names of several products, starting with most of its industry-focused offerings, down to the “historic core” that is Sales Cloud.
This latter product had become Agentforce Sales by Dreamforce 2025. The market then wondered whether Salesforce itself might rename to Agentforce. Marc Benioff had stoked the rumor by saying such an outcome “would not surprise him…”
Almost a year later, that scenario appears far less probable. The Dreamforce 2026 opening address bore witness to this. In broad strokes: for three years we’ve been talking about the “agent layer,” but the real AI revolution now lies in the interface.
AIforce or the march toward a headless CRM
To this promise, Salesforce attached a label: AIforce. Before it, there had been another one introduced in the spring: Headless 360.
From one to the other, the same principle applies: broadening headless access to Salesforce for both developers and business users. The main vectors: APIs, MCP servers, skills, and CLI commands.
The dev-oriented components are grouped under the Headless Toolkit banner. Among them, a Headless Experience runtime that adapts widgets to the rendering surface. It currently supports ChatGPT, Claude, and Slackbot (all three via MCP), as well as Agentforce Employee Agent. Widgets are defined in JSON. A skill enables generating them with the Agentforce Vibes extension for VS Code.
One incarnation of AIforce is none other than Claudeforce.
The Agentforce brand does not disappear. Salesforce references it especially within its partnerships with cloud providers. More specifically AWS, with whom the connections are strengthening. Two illustrations: access to Anthropic and NVIDIA models hosted on Bedrock (“coming soon”) and the interoperability of Agentforce Voice / Amazon Connect Customer via the A2A protocol (planned for autumn).
To feed the Agentforce ecosystem, there will also be Koa, a model based on Nemotron 3 Super (NVIDIA). Salesforce talks about availability this winter… in the United States.
