LightOn Secures a Helpdesk Contract with Infocom’94

Infocom’94 has signed a three-year contract with LightOn to integrate AI into its digital services. This joint public authority pools IT management for 26 Île-de-France municipalities, representing 463,000 residents.

The first deployment targets Infocom’94’s ticketing system. A chatbot available 24/7 will answer simple questions from the staff of the member communes.

If the demand exceeds its capacity, it automatically creates a ticket. The goal is to handle level 1 and level 2 requests without human intervention, freeing time for the support teams.

The solution operates in a hybrid architecture, with data stored on-site. Each municipality thus keeps its data within its own perimeter.

A Specific Use Case: IT Support

Infocom’94 manages sensitive data: local finances, human resources, education, social housing, and municipal social action centers. This data cannot circulate outside the perimeter of the public operator. It is this regulatory and political constraint that guided the choice toward LightOn.

The platform must also serve as a scalable foundation. Other municipalities have already expressed interest in joining the program, according to LightOn, which notes that this constraint confirms the trend that public actors no longer test AI but now choose with whom they will deploy it in the long term.

LightOn is already collaborating with the Île-de-France Regional Council. Several major urban areas and prefectures are evaluating its solutions.
