VirtualBrowser Raises €6M to Break Into the RBI Market

The web browser is another attack surface to secure… just like any other.

VirtualBrowser rests on a breakthrough protocol technology. The principle of Remote Browser Isolation hinges on full session isolation: browsing occurs in a secure remote environment, sending back to the user only an innocuous visual stream. This architecture neutralizes threats (malware, phishing, zero-day exploits) before they ever reach the user’s device.

A technology that has convinced several investors* to back €6 million.

The platform already counts 150,000 users across highly sensitive defense organizations (Thales, Dassault Aviation, Naval Group), government bodies (Prime Minister’s Office, CNIL), and European institutions (the Council of the EU).

The Case for Certified Sovereignty

As with most French software publishers, the Oodrive spin-off leans on sovereignty with its First-Level Security Certification (CSPN) issued by ANSSI.

An essential credential for appealing to Operators of Vital Importance (OVI) and government administrations, but also to reassure European SMEs about the solution’s technical robustness against real-world attacks.

The €6 million freshly raised will fund an expansion strategy built around four pillars. While innovation remains at the heart of the project to maintain the technological lead, emphasis will be placed on commercial development in the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland) and the Benelux.

To scale, VirtualBrowser plans to structure an ecosystem of technology partners and, above all, rely on a network of integrators and MSSPs (Managed Security Service Providers).
